Q:Â When you sign up on the ad platform do you need to create a new account or use your existing TikTok account to log in?
A:Â Currently you'll need to create a separate TikTok Ads Manager account.
Q:Â Â When we make our ads account with that link do we just wait for approval?
A:Â Yes, once registering your account, you'll need to enter your business information under account settings for your account to be approved. Each of your ads will go through ad approval before launching as well.Â
Q:Â How long can a TikTok video (ad) be?
A:Â An In-Feed Video Ad can be up to :30 long but we suggest keeping your video to :10-:15 for maximum impact.
Q: How important is it to choose popular music when doing the ad?
A:Â We highly recommend that you leverage the songs available in our free music library! You definitely don't need to use popular music to create an engaging, high performing ad.Â
Q:Â Can all of this be done in app on my phone? Or just through the desktop ads manager web portal?
A:Â Currently our creative tools are only available on desktop.Â
Q:Â What's the length that performs the best? 20-seconds?
A:Â While there is no one specific In-Feed Video Ad length that works best for all advertisers, we see the best performing ads are short and focused. These are typically :10-:15 long.
Q: If we’re an agency, do we need to create more than one Ads account?
A:Â We recommend you create a separate TikTok Ads Manager account per customer.Â
Q:Â Is there a recommended video duration or best practice?
A:Â Our creative tools allow for durations of 10s to 30s, and we've seen videos of all those lengths perform well. Generally shorter videos that are 10s or 15s have strong performance.
Q: Can you download videos TikTok generates to your computer that are created in your library?

Q:Â Does the ad have a "sponsored" somewhere or does it look like organic content?
A:Â Yes an ad will have the "sponsored" indicator when displayed to the user.Â
Q: Is there a way to link to our TikTok accounts from the ad in order to carry the engagement and build the audience?
A:Â We are working on this and will keep you updated when it's available!Â
